CollectMe Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 June 2026
The short version
CollectMe keeps your collection on your device. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
What data the app stores
Everything you enter — names, values, notes, tags, photos and item details — is stored locally on your device. NarvalTech has no servers and never receives a copy of your collection.
Network use (optional)
When you look up an item, only the identifier you provide (an ISBN, barcode or search term) is sent to third-party metadata services to fetch public information such as title, author, cover or sleeve art. No personal information is included.
The app is fully functional offline; these lookups are optional conveniences.
Camera & photos
Camera and photo access is used only to add images to your items. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple. NarvalTech does not receive or store any payment information.
Tracking & analytics
None. There are no ads, no tracking SDKs, and no analytics.
Children
CollectMe is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
Third-party services
Optional metadata lookups use these public catalogues. Only the identifier you provide is sent — never personal information.
- Open Library— Book metadata (ISBN lookup)
- Google Books— Book metadata (ISBN lookup fallback)
- Discogs— Vinyl metadata lookup
